Tuition fee receipt format: a free WhatsApp template that ends 'I already paid' disputes
Published 2026-09-28
"But I paid last month!" Many fee disputes are honest mistakes - a parent who paid in cash and forgot, or a UPI payment made from a relative's phone. A short written receipt, sent the same day, helps prevent most of them.
Fill in the tutor, student, month and amount, then print or save as PDF. Free, no login, nothing stored.
Open the free receipt generatorWhat every tuition fee receipt should say
- Your name or class name
- The student's name
- The amount received
- Which month (or balance) it was for
- The date you recorded it, and how it was paid if useful (cash / UPI)
A copy-paste WhatsApp receipt
Payment received - thank you! [Class name] has received Rs [amount] for [Student]'s tuition fee for [Month Year] (recorded on [date]).
For a part payment
Received Rs [amount] towards [Student]'s [Month Year] fee - thank you! Rs [balance] is left for this month.
Do you need a printed or PDF receipt?
For most home tutors and small classes, a WhatsApp message is enough: it's dated, it's in the parent's chat, and it can't get lost. If parents need a formal receipt (for example, for an employer reimbursement), keep a numbered receipt book or a spreadsheet with the same fields - or use our free printable receipt generator (English + Hindi, no login). This is general information, not tax or legal advice.
Sending receipts in one tap
In FeeSathi, your recent payments each have a "Receipt" button that opens WhatsApp with this message already filled in for that parent. All payments are also in your downloadable Excel file.
See who owes you, send a polite WhatsApp reminder with your UPI ID, and keep everything in an Excel file you can download. No signup, no app to install.
