Privacy
This page explains, in plain words, what FeeSathi stores and what you can do about it.
What we store
- Campaign labels (source, medium and campaign) from the first tagged link you visit in this browser tab. We keep only approved labels, not the full URL or referrer. If you create a tutor page, those labels are saved with it to count which channels lead to pages and students added.
- Your tutor page: the name you enter, your UPI ID if you add one, and the private link key.
- What you type about your students: name, parent's phone number, batch, monthly fee and any previous balance.
- The records you make: payments you record (month, amount, date and any note, including undone payments), attendance, and when you opened a WhatsApp reminder for each student.
- Messages you send us from the support page, and the contact detail you choose to leave.
- When you create a tutor page: a one-way, salted hash of your network (IP) address, used only to limit how many pages can be created from one network. It is deleted after 24 hours and is not linked to your page.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Campaign labels use session storage in this browser tab until it closes; no device identifier is created. We never see, process or verify payments - parents pay you directly, and "paid" is your own manual record.
Who can see it
Anyone who has your private page link can see and change your page, so keep it to yourself. We do not sell or share your data. It is stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Turso) only to run the service.
Students' data
Most students are children. You decide what to enter about them, so please add only what you need to track fees, and make sure parents are comfortable with you keeping these details. WhatsApp reminders are sent from your own WhatsApp - FeeSathi does not message parents.
Deleting your data
- One student: Remove them, then choose "Delete forever" under Removed students. Their payments and attendance are deleted too.
- Everything: use "Delete this page and all its data" at the bottom of your tutor page. This cannot be undone.
- A copy first: "Download Excel file" gives you all your records as an Excel (.xlsx) file; a CSV option is next to it.
