5 polite WhatsApp fee reminder messages that get parents to pay (English + Hindi)

The best fee reminder is short, specific and friendly. It names the student, the amount and the month - and it gives the parent an easy next step. Copy any of these, in English or Hindi (हिंदी), and fill in the blanks.

English templates

1. The gentle first reminder (send around the 5th)

Namaste! A gentle reminder that [Student]'s tuition fee of Rs [amount] for [month] is due. You can pay via UPI whenever convenient. Thank you!

2. The UPI reminder (includes your UPI ID)

Namaste, [Student]'s fee of Rs [amount] for [month] is pending. You can pay by UPI to [your UPI ID] - or tap this link: [your UPI link]. Thank you!

3. The second reminder (a week later, still warm)

Namaste! Just following up on [Student]'s fee of Rs [amount] for [month]. If you've already paid, please ignore this - and thank you! Otherwise, whenever convenient this week would be great.

4. The two-months-pending message (clear, not cold)

Namaste, I hope all is well. [Student]'s fees for [month 1] and [month 2] (Rs [total] in total) are pending. Could we settle these this week? If there's any difficulty, do tell me - we can work out a schedule.

5. The thank-you after payment (builds next month's habit)

Received, thank you! [Student]'s fee for [month] is marked paid. See you in class!

हिंदी टेम्पलेट

1. पहला विनम्र रिमाइंडर (5 तारीख के आसपास भेजें)

नमस्ते! [छात्र] की [महीने] की ट्यूशन फीस Rs [रकम] बाकी है, बस याद दिला रहे हैं। जब सुविधा हो, UPI से भुगतान कर सकते हैं। धन्यवाद!

2. UPI ID वाला रिमाइंडर

नमस्ते, [छात्र] की [महीने] की फीस Rs [रकम] बाकी है। आप [आपकी UPI ID] पर UPI से भुगतान कर सकते हैं - या यह लिंक खोलें: [आपका UPI लिंक]। धन्यवाद!

3. दूसरा रिमाइंडर (एक हफ़्ते बाद, विनम्रता से)

नमस्ते! [छात्र] की [महीने] की फीस Rs [रकम] के बारे में फिर से याद दिला रहे हैं। अगर भुगतान हो चुका है, तो कृपया इस संदेश को नज़रअंदाज़ करें - और धन्यवाद! अगर नहीं हुआ है, तो इस हफ़्ते जब भी सुविधा हो।

4. दो महीने बाकी होने पर (स्पष्ट, पर सख़्त नहीं)

नमस्ते, आशा है सब ठीक है। [छात्र] की [महीना 1] और [महीना 2] की फीस (कुल Rs [रकम]) बाकी है। क्या इस हफ़्ते भुगतान हो सकता है? कोई दिक्कत हो तो कृपया बताइए - हम किस्तों की व्यवस्था भी कर सकते हैं।

5. भुगतान के बाद धन्यवाद संदेश (अगले महीने की आदत बनाने के लिए)

भुगतान मिल गया, धन्यवाद! [छात्र] की [महीने] की फीस 'paid' दर्ज कर ली गई है। क्लास में मिलते हैं!

Why these work

They are specific (no "fees pending please check"), they assume good intent, and they reduce the parent's effort to one tap.
